The Knights of Columbus were founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael McGivney as a fraternal organization that would not only strengthen the faith life of its members but provide charitable actions to the broader community.
The St. Angela Merici Council conducts numerous charitable activities each year such as:
- Support of the Pregnancy Resource Medical Center in Rosenberg
- Project Gabriel Pregnancy Support Mission at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish
- Sacred Heart of Jesus Manvel Food Pantry
- The Global Wheelchair Mission
- High school and collegiate scholarships
- Seminarian & religious support
- Local, national, and international disaster relief aid
- Youth and veteran activities
The Fr. Bob Duggan Golf Outing is our major fund raiser that permits us to carry out our charitable work. We are asking that you help support us with your generous donation to allow us to help others in need.
