Proclaimer of the WordProclaimers of the Word give human voice to the word of God in the assembly at Mass. Those who participate in this ministry should have strong verbal and communication skills, be comfortable reading in front of a large group of people, and possess the willingness to commit oneself to the time, effort and study required for intelligent and sensitive proclamation of the scriptures. Lector Training - July 19
There will be a mandatory Proclaimer of the Word training for all who are interested in serving as lector and those ministers who are within their first or second year of service on Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the SAM room.
